In the days when radar detectors were considered illegal this remote device which allows the radar horn to mount behind the grill of the car was a good idea. Nowadays unless you're going to do a lot of driving on the continent or want a motorbike mounted radar detector this is an expensive option. Performance on a par with the Bel 550.
