Laser Pod is a completely unique device that has been designed to add laser detection to almost any portable satellite navigation system on the market and will detect most types of laser gun in use throughout Europe. Whilst most portable navigation systems on the market can provide advance warning of fixed speed traps, none could alert you to mobile speed traps - until now!

A blue status LED comes on when the unit is powered up, this becomes a red flashing LED when a 904nm lightwave laser beam is detected as used by the mobile safety camera vans. There is also an audio alert that sounds.
Adding laser pod to your sat nav is easy. Simply mount laser pod on the back of your sat nav or smart phone with the mounting pad provided and power from the cigarette lighter socket using the cable included. Next power your sat nav from the 5V output socket built-in to Laser Pod and you are ready to go. Sat nav and laser detection neatly bundled and powered from only one car charger! Laser Pod comes with 3 connection cables, twi mini USB cables and a round pin connector to cover most sat nav units. The cigar lighter plug also has a standard USB socket so you can power an iPhone or similar device alongside the Laser Pod.

The Laser Pod is compatible with all sat navs that use the industry standard 5v mini USB socket for power as shown on the right.This is the case for all the Garmins and TomTom units as we understand it and most other sat nav units.
The Laser Pod is compatible with the Snooper S900 and S5000 range of sat navs and also the Snooper My-Speed and My-Speed Aura camera detectors. Please be aware it is not compatible with the Snoope rS6000 or S7000 units or older S2000, Indago and Strabo units as these use an older 12v power system in which case you would need to run it as a stand alone detector. |

Snooper Laser Pod can also be mounted as a stand-alone laser detector, either mounted on your vehicles rear view mirror or the windscreen suction cup bracket provided. Power from the 12v accessory socket or can even be hardwired using the optional 'hard wire' cable (available separately).
Please note that this device is fully legal in the UK but illegal in some European countries like France.
