Using the very latest GPS technology and the most comprehensive database of speed limits in Europe provided by Navteq, this amazing device will alert you continually to the speed limit of the road you are travelling on. As the speed limit changes, MY-SPEED AURA can be set to alert you both visually and audibly as the speed limit displayed automatically changes so you never find yourself inadvertently driving at the wrong speed limit ever again.
Comes pre-loaded with speed limits covering roads across Western Europe.
MY-SPEED AURA will also alert you the moment you exceed the speed limit. Two different attention grabbing displays are shown depending on whether you are driving above or below the speed limit

Ultra-compact, MY-SPEED AURA is mounted on to the inside of your vehicles windscreen with the windscreen bracket provided and powers from the cigarette lighter socket. In addition you can set MY-SPEED to alert you to any other speed limit you choose. Set MY-SPEED AURAto alert you visually and audibly to any speed from 20-150mph. MY-SPEED AURA may be small but it could be the most important driving aid you ever buy!

Only Snooper speed camera detectors utilise our unique AURA database. All GPS location systems are only as good as the information that is stored inside them, therefore it is essential that your system uses the best there is. AURA was created to provide the very best automotive Speed Trap database available.
MY-SPEED is different to other non-Snooper systems because the AURA database allows you to download live updates 24 hours a day, every day. Cheaper, lower quality systems usually only give you the opportunity to download a database 4 times a year. This means that your system can be up to three months out of date before your next update. If you get caught out by a new speed camera you didn't know about, you'll have no-where to turn. With AURA, if a new speed camera appears, it will be live on our database within 48 hours.
The AURA database contains all information that is vital to today´s driver. The vast database now comprises the widest number of locations imaginable including: Gatso, MCS, Truvelo, Watchman, DS-2, Speedcurb, SPECs Average Speed Cameras, Mobile Laser sites, Mobile Camera Vans, Mobile Gatso and Truvelo Cameras, Accident Hotspots, High Risk Zones, Digital Cameras, Congestion Charge Cameras and Schools (optional). As well as providing up to the minute speed trap information you will also be able to update the speed limit data on MY-SPEED AURA as well. To ensure that MY-SPEED is kept up to date you will have the opportunity to update the speed limit information stored on their device once a year.

Optional Laser Sensor
This laser sensor comes with an adhesive base to stick to your dashboard or other suitable mounting position that has a line of sight of the road ahead and plugs into a cigar lighter socket for power. It comes with additional cables to share power with your Road Angel Vantage.
This will work at whatever range the safety camera vans are working but light beams do not go around corners so they need a line of sight of your vehcile to catch you speeding and you need a line of sight of them to detect the 904nm laser beam. This is like a torch beam that is flashed down the road to detect your speed, the camera vans are not constantly firing so if your driving past at the speed limit and do not detect anything it is because they can see your not speeding and so have not fired and taken a speed reading. |

Additional Protection By Running Laser Star Alongside
To assist the Aura database against mobile speed camera vans a laser jammer can be added. This is a device that would be fitted under your bonnet at the front of the car, its works independently to the My-Speed but will actively detect laser emitted by the camera vans and fire back a corresponding 904nm signal while you slow down before allowing the police to get a reading once you have reached a more agreeable speed. Our recommendation for this is the laserstar.
